Tulivuoren Kiipeäminen Mgahingan Kansallispuistossa

Mgahinga National Park is home to three volcanoes: Mount Sabyinyo, Mount Gahinga, and Mount Muhabura. Each of these volcanoes can be climbed in a full-day hike. The summits offer breathtaking views of the Virunga Massif, including Rwanda and D. R Congo, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the Rwenzori Highlands, and Lake Edward.

Mt. Sabinyo is the tallest, reaching 3,669m, and takes approximately 8 hours to complete the 14km round trip.

Mt. Gahinga is 3,474m and takes around 6 hours to hike with a possible encounter of golden monkeys in the bamboo forest.

Mt. Muhavura is the highest at 4,127m and requires 8 hours for the 12km round trip. The views from the top include the Virunga Volcanoes, Lake Edward, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the Rwenzori peaks on a clear day.
